Problem:
Slide is leaking when slide is in the out position.
Possible Causes:
Flip seal damaged or not flipping.
Inter seal damaged.
Problem:
Slide leaking while in the in position.
Possible Causes:
Outer seal either damaged or not seating properly. May need slide adjustment.
Problem:
Slide has a gap at on end or the other when closed. Or top / bottom not sealing against coach body.
In most cases an adjustment will solve this issue. (Note: not all slides are adjustable.)
Problem:
Making a clunking noise when traveling in or out.
This is usually caused by either a damaged rack gear or pinion gear. This problem can be very expensive and should be verified by a professional. Call for an appointment it could save you a lot of money.
Problem:
Moves very slow or stalls.
Possible Cause:
Motor is damaged or worn out.
Wiring is under sized for the distance that the needed current needs to travel.
We also find that sometimes the compartments attached to the slide are overloaded.
Another cause could be bad battery or connections.
